Take one of the two free front sections and start to roll it. The idea is to keep the hair rolled down towards your face, not up. Keep rolling until your hair is piled on top of your head in one of those tall hair rolls that were popular in the 1940s. Then secure with bobby pins.
Repeat the process with the other front section of your hair. This time, try to roll the hair a little lower down so that it will look more like bangs.
When your hair rolls are complete, spray them with a generous amount of hairspray to help set the style. This will help prevent flyaways and major mishaps, so be sure to apply the hairspray carefully.
When you are done, comb through the hair to remove any bumps or frizz and to smooth the style. If needed, add a little styling mousse to the hair for extra hold and definition. Then, enjoy your beautiful new vintage look!
