The Hair Tool plugin for Unity combines meshes, brushes, and textures to give your 3D characters and objects more lifelike hair and fur. It includes a number of hairstyles, color options, and texture settings. The hair tool supports multiple materials and allows you to use multiple shaders to achieve the right look and feel.
Developed by the Unity team, this tool enables you to create non-physics and dynamic hairstyles. All you have to do is select a mesh gameobject and edit, draw, or remove its properties to create the desired hairstyle. Then, use the tools to style your hair. The tools in Unity make this process fast and easy!
The latest version includes a new hair curves system. This is based on Curves objects and is compatible with Blender 3.3 LTS. It also requires a surface, which is used to add new curves. Once you have created the surface, you can use the new Deform Curves with Surface node to deform the hairs.
